Urban Warmth
I wanted to shift the mood from cool and overcast to a more inviting and cinematic atmosphere. I warmed up the tones, emphasizing the golden hues of the architecture to create a contrast between the historic building and the modern glass structure. This edit enhances the timeless feel of the space while maintaining the raw energy of the skaters.

Parisian Glow
I focused on enhancing the warmth and vibrancy of the original image while maintaining its moody, romantic feel. I brightened the overall exposure to bring out the architectural details and make the white walls feel cleaner and more inviting. My goal was to transform a slightly dull, overcast scene into something that feels more alive and enchanting, without losing its old-world charm.

Cathedral
I edited my photo of the table of candles in the cathedral to bring out the warmth of the candlelight while also revealing the people in the background. I started by adjusting the exposure and shadows, lifting the darker areas so the figures became more visible without losing the ambiance of the scene. I increased the contrast slightly to define the flickering candle flames against the dim interior and enhanced the warmth to emphasize the glow.

The Flower Stand

To emphasize the sunlight, I increased the highlights and warmth, giving the scene a soft golden glow. A slight haze effect helped create an airy, light-filled look, while adjusting the contrast kept the details crisp without being too harsh. I also softened the background slightly to keep the focus on the stand, making it feel like a bright, cheerful moment frozen in time.

Moroccan Portrait
In this edit, I focused on refining the balance of light and shadow to create a more natural and immersive atmosphere. The original image had overly high contrast, which caused the darker areas to lose detail and prevented the sunlight from shining through as intended. I lifted the shadows to reveal more texture and depth in the darker areas, ensuring the doorway and surrounding elements felt more open and inviting. At the same time, I softened the highlights to create a smoother transition between light and shadow, allowing the sunlight to flow through more organically.

Skyline Evening
I focused on refining the colors and tones to bring more balance and depth to the night skyline. The raw photo had an overly blue cast, which made the scene feel cool but also somewhat unnatural. To correct this while maintaining the nighttime atmosphere, I adjusted the color balance to introduce warmer tones, creating a more dynamic contrast between the city lights and the sky.
